Doina has loved the arts since childhood, although through education and profession she specialized and worked in computer engineering. After studying oil painting for 2 years, starting in 2005, she followed her passion. She continued to progress by taking classes in acrylic painting, watercolor, as well as attending numerous art workshops. Painting brings her joy and is for her a form of meditation, a look into herself.
She paints with oils, acrylics, watercolors, inks, charcoal, mixed media, mostly abstract reality. Her artistic approach is a search for all manifestations of energy and love, being expressed through her dynamic, spontaneous canvases, full of color and light. Over the years, she has actively exhibited in solo and group exhibitions. She is a member of several art associations. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, England, Europe, Sweden, India and Israel.
