The transparency and light in watercolor attract me in particular. To master this difficult technique in which the water cycle is a constant challenge, I signed up for watercolor workshops offered by members of the Canadian Watercolour Society. My works illustrate winter landscapes, flowers and buildings. I also explore other techniques such as acrylics and the use of Japanese paper. Reading specialized magazines, visiting exhibitions and regular exchanges with other artists complete my quest for continuing improvement. Member of Joie de l’Aquarelle (2003) and the Saint-Laurent Artists’ Association (2010), I also exhibit regularly in Lanaudière and Montréal. |
